The FPMT European Regional Office serves all Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition centres and study groups Europe by organising teaching tours, holding regular regional meetings, by aiming to improve and maintain communication between the centres and by providing an information portal for all those wishing to learn more about Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhist centres in Europe.


There are actually 55 FPMT centres and study groups in 17 countries in the region, including monasteries, city centres, country centres, retreat centres and publishing houses.
