Over the weekend of 22nd – 24th April, The Reiyukai Centre in Nantes was buzzing with conversation, dialogues, talks and Buddhist practice. This was the long awaited EBU conference on Unity in Diversity in Buddhism. The centre was full on both days and many friendships and contacts were formed over these few days. The exciting aspect of such a conference is that Buddhist practitioners across many traditions gather together and share experiences and understandings of their own Buddhist practice and teachings. Many people, in talking to those from Buddhist groups about which they perhaps knew little, learned a great deal and expanded their own understanding and respect for those traditions.

We have created a link to all the videos from the conference, you are welcome to watch them here:

There was too much going on all of which was of very high quality, to single out any particular talks or workshops. Great thanks must go to everyone who was involved in some way in a presentation. Certainly, the final session, where most of the speakers gathered to gather to answer questions, was a lot of fun and it was very clear from this that Buddhism is as diverse as it ever has been across Europe. The unity, harmony and friendship which was created was a joy to perceive.

Many thanks to all at the Reiyukai Centre for all the hard work which went into this event. It was much appreciated by all.
