SGI-Europe is a pan-European, community-based Buddhist organization that promotes peace, culture and education centred on respect for the dignity of life. It is part of the global network of SGI.


SGI is a grassroots movement active in 36 European countries. SGI members are dedicated to sharing the empowering message of the Lotus Sutra of Shakyamuni and Nichiren Buddhism. They aspire to contribute to a current in which the rich wisdom of Buddhist teachings become common knowledge and a great resource in the world to support the establishment of a truly global culture of harmonious co-existence and peace.
